Yes, beer! Copmanthorpe Community Pool has its very own charity beer – ‘Sink or Swim’ ale – a 4.0% abv blonde session ale kindly brewed for us by Ainsty Ales. Every sale of the beer raises money to help us reopen Copmanthorpe School swimming pool as a facility for the whole community.

Sink or Swim Ale in Mini-Kegs
Sink or Swim Ale is available in 9 pint mini-kegs at £18 each. Every mini-keg sold raises £5 for Copmanthorpe Community Pool, including an additional donation from Ainsty Ales! Mini-kegs will be made up to order and will be ready to be paid for and collected in one or two weeks after your order at the Ainsty Ales brewery at Manor Farm, Intake Lane, Acaster Malbis. Looking After Your Beer
- Each mini-keg will have a small amount of yeast in so, leave them to settle for three hours before opening. (Opening instructions are printed on the label.)
- Mini-kegs should be kept cool – refrigerated if possible.
- Refrigerated mini-kegs will keep the beer fresh for three weeks after collection.
- Drink the beer within three days of opening a mini-keg to enjoy it at its best.
